Objectives

Different researches (European Commission, 2012; Alnæs, 2013; Westle & Segatti, 2016) show that challenges in the geopolitical, economic, social... level, influence our experience of ourselves and our place in society. Challenges in those fields usually result in euro-skepticism and rising of nationalist discourse. Youth workers and young people as well are not sure how to deal and integrate those changes. With this is connected the entire complex relationship to something that we call “the European identity”, according to which there is some ambivalence, which were enhanced by Brexit, closing the Hungarian boarders for migrants... ("A crisis of confidence in the European Union?", The Clingendael Institute, 2017). The GOAL of the project is to empower youth workers and young people (especially those that comes from sensitive groups) to examine their attitude toward constantly changing European context. Also, project seems to foster sense of community and togetherness among young people, based on European values. Specific goals are to enable young people and youth workers to: • Accelerate their understanding of the broader socio-economic context of Europe. • Express their opinions about changes in Europe through performance art. • Become equipped to use performance art as a way of promoting European values in the future • Promote ERASMUS+ as a tool for European cooperation among youth in Europe.
