Objectives

Motivation-how to create motivational learning for students with special needs Integration - how to create the best learning for newcomers and students with languages other than Swedish as a mother tongue The teacher's skills - how do we develop our methods and our professional skills to help all students succeed at their very best. We ask ourselves the following questions: How can we motivate and engage students even more? What methods and working methods promote good motivation? How can we improve and speed up the integration of new arrivals? How do we make our Swedish teaching more effective? What techniques and methods are successful and develop the teacher's skills and variation of methods?

Background

During the academic year 2017/2018, a current situation analysis was carried out of both the national programs and the introductory programs. We identified a number of challenges related to students' goal fulfillment. Based on these, we have chosen to focus on two areas: more students need to reach a full student degree and more students need to reach the goals formulated in their individual plans. Each activity in the project is chosen based on one or more of our clearly stated goals: all students must take their high school diploma and all students must achieve their set goals. To get there, we have specified three different development areas within: Motivation, Integration, and the Quality skills of the teacher
