In this project Ekbackeskolan wants to give students and staff the possibilities to develop: - Professional –, linguistic – and cultural experiences - Good relationships by strengthening the relations between staff/student and student/student - Lifetime personal development - Knowledge about Europe The goals on the organisational level are to: - Increase the European perspective in teaching for many years to come - Create better cooperation between the different programmes of the school, for students as well as staff - Create better cooperation between school and program counsels in Sweden - Market Ekbackeskolan as an "European School" it is and in this way increase the attraction of the school for future students and as a work place for staff members work shadowing abroad. There is a widespread further interest for the international work specifically in welcoming supervisors and students from Lűdinghausen.
Ekbackeskolan has long and good experience of work with internalization to deepen professional and personal knowledge. Internalization is one of the mission statements of the school and it is well established in the curriculum of upper secondary school as well as the programme objectives of the vocational programmes and the goals and visions of the municipality. The ambitions of the Erasmus+ work have this period of time been the following: - To create possibilities for students and staff to develop their professional and linguistic skills but also their European knowledge and their identities - To create possibilities for staff, both from school and supervisors from the program counsels, to experience the cities and work places the students get in contact with - To create better prerequisites for relations between students from different programmes of Ekbackeskolan - To develop the school workings and the European knowledge for students and staff - To use the possibilities for job shadowing as part of the in – service training of the school - To increase the possibilities for employment by giving the giving students and staff unique experiences and simultaneously creating an attractive school and workplace in the region
