To contribute to the achievement of the strategic objectives set for schools ' international cooperation and thus promote greater solidarity and mobility: - Increased knowledge and understanding of tourism sector conditions in other EU member states. Working towards international work contributing to business development: - increased knowledge about opportunities within a transnational Labour market. To contribute to the development of the Union by using and exchanging experiences, developing new forms of work and methods and enabling student and employee exchanges together with educational organisations in Europe. - Empowerment of individuals and foster mobility and employee Exchange.
We wanted to offer internship for a number of students from the Staffan upper secondary school in Söderhamn, Sweden, studying tourism by support from a school in Seville, Spain also active with training for the tourism sector. Our aim was to give the students a chance to learn more about the tourism sector in other countries and the conditions for the staff in the tourist sector i.e "learning by doing": experience how real service is provided by qualified proffessionals in the tourism sector. We wanted to organise the mobility in conditions different from the conditions available in Sweden, a huge tourist destination like Seville, most different from existing destinations in Sweden.
