The students are expected to apply acquired knowledge at a foreign work place and to take part of the restaurang or business and administration culture of the receiving country. We want the students to accuire new knowledge and get an improved self self-confidence. We also want them to mediate their knowledge to work mates at the receiving work place.
The purpose with work practise abroad is to give the students an international dimension of the profession on site in a foreign country. This includes working environment, social contacts and improving language skills. We are a municipal high school in a medium sized city in Sweden with limited opportunity to offer students work practise abroad with our own recources.
