We aim towards sustainable changes which should reach as many people as possible. The project should have deeper consequences. We aimed at a better connection among different subjects, at connecting all the teachers and to transfer the information and knowledge. Interpersonal cooperation in the process of teaching should be a long-term constant even after the project has finished. This is the condition for a successful social integration of students and a positive attitude towards diversity. Integration into a new society and learning the language of the environment is a complicated and long process but it makes it easier if a child has a feeling of acceptance and gets the suitable professional support. The overall process would enable the teachers to distribute the knowledge and experience, advise colleagues and help form a successful, integral, sustainable school politics. We want to connect the on-going and future formal and informal national and international projects in a way to strive towards the development and the vision which would affect tzhe quality of work, learning and teaching, bring new possibilities for professional career, increase motivation and integration of students, parents and local community.
Integrating foreign students presented challenges of cultural diversity and students' etnical background. We wanted to increase intercultural awareness, develop the European dimension of school, achieve motivation with teachers and students through life-long learning, interaction among people of different cultures, tolerance of diversity, sensitivity to vulnerable groups. Respect of one's own culture, history, etnical peculiarities leads to interpersonal integration in learning from each other. We learn how to understand, respect different cultures, new opportunities, encourage interpersonal development of society and overcome prejudices. Knowledge about other cultures and ways of life helps to understand various aspects of one's own culture. The goal was to achieve a better professional and integral development, a broader insight into practices, politics, school systems in various countries, improve quality of social, linguistic, cultural diversity, strengthen intercultural perception, improve quality of work with competences which would contribute to the internationalization of school, establish contacts with foreign partners, take part in different projects, develop examples of good practice and broaden the European dimension.
