The aim of the project was to develop and enable the competence of professionals in professional and personal development to improve the educational process; the introduction of innovative teaching methods, techniques and technologies and the expansion of opportunities for European cooperation to modernize and internationalize the curriculum; strengthening awareness of the importance of role models and improving language and ICT competences, as well as reflection on the future strategic directions of the kindergarten. The project was also intended to reflect, clarify and formulate the attitudes, values and attitude that professionals should have towards the key issues addressed by the project and the development, improvement and sustainability of understanding and skills for applying the acquired knowledge in practice.
Becoming a better person to be a more valuable role model reflected the needs arising from the strategic plan of Kindergarten Najdihojca for implementing educational excellence and updating curriculum, as well as the needs of professional staff in their personal and professional development. The project covered the need of the organization to establish international partnership, strengthen quality and internationalization to implement educational excellence and update the curriculum, and contributed to opportunities to promote social inclusion. In managing and planning development, we pay special attention to the continuous professional development and lifelong learning of employees and provide them with opportunities to participate in various forms of additional training and education, as well as the development of professional and personal competencies. The project sets learning in starting point of the promotion of quality and the spread of common European values, such as freedom, tolerance and non-discrimination, the project placed a person-educator-role model. By finding a balance and introducing new technologies, new approaches and internationalization, as well as awareness of the importance of national identity and social inclusion, we presented the best example to children.
