We wanted to acquire new knowledge and competences, which will enable the formation of modern and internationally oriented strategies of innovative teaching and learning. Teachers constantly need new information, education, and exchange of examples of best teaching practices. Our aim was to implement new, modern approaches into education. We are also well aware that teachers professional and personal growth is of outmost importance. In a fast-developing society, teachers and learners demand changes and novelties and therefore we decided to explore new knowledge and approaches in digital literacy (the implementation of ICT in education and the use of ICT for distance communication and collaboration). Being able to communicate in foreign language gives you plenty of opportunities to broaden your knowledge by exploring the web and collaborating with teachers from abroad. By attending language courses teachers improved their speaking and listening skills, learned about grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. In general, all participant became more fluent in English. The mobilities enabled participants to experience intercultural challenge, broaden their horizons and general knowledge, meet different people. They learned about, understood and accepted pedagogical and cultural differences between countries. We also wanted to connect our schools with schools from other countries and cultures to encourage European dimension of our school.
