The aims of the project targeted our needs, namely: - the need to gain new skills and competences in the area of rhythmic movement which has been already implemented such as Fit Pedagogy ™, laughter yoga and Bel-a-vis-X, - the need to acquire new professional knowledge, new teaching methods and techniques, - the need to foster more quality teaching and to implement innovations and lifelong learning, - the need to improve emotional and social competences.
Naklo Primary School has been a part of various Erasmus projects for several years and is thus getting a lot of valuable professional competences and educational experience, not to say that it is becoming more known outside Slovenia. Furthermore, with the help of these projects the school is broadening its influence to different areas of education. The Erasmus project called The Rhythm of Teaching and Learning was a continuation of a two-year project called I can, you can, we can do much more as it continues some of its educational work and methods, especially in the area of movement and rhythm since we have sensed these are the areas where we need to gain more new skills, methods and experience.
