With the realisation of the project, we wanted professional workers to analyse their own teaching practice and encourage their own development. A goal was to improve teaching and learning of languages at the school and to promote wide linguistic diversity and intercultural awareness of the EU. The goal was also to obtain as many successful models of ICT use in the learning process as possible, especially to teach children how to use smartphones wisely. We wanted for managers and administrative workers to be trained for more effective management of the organization from the point of view of computerization of processes and development of a collaborative culture of the school's learning community. With the help of presentations of individual countries and their culture, in which members of the project team gained experience, we wanted to encourage the rest of the colleagues to various activities related to international cooperation (communication, mobility, exchange of cross-border examples of good practices) and the development of sustainable cooperation. We wanted for the school to gain recognisability in the wider area, expand intercultural cooperation and find new opportunities for further cooperation in international projects.
We decided for entering the project "The quality of learning teachers on the wings of European students" because the goals that were set came from the development plan of the Mislinja Primary School, which reflected the needs of professional colleagues in their personal and professional development, as well as the needs of the organization to raise the quality of the learning process and international cooperation.
