By implementing the learning mobility project, we wanted to improve our students and teachers' professional qualifications, which could be achieved by completing the following project objectives: - Professional and key/generic competences’ development during active participation in the object lessons in the fields of Logistics and Safety and security; and during on-the-job learning abroad. - Theoretical knowledge transfer into real life working situations. - Easier adjustment to new learning and working situations. - Self-efficient, creative, persistent, reliable and responsible task competition. - Problem solving and knowledge transfer while working with foreign co-workers. - Knowledge transfer into domestic working environment. - Learning about and comparing mother tongue and culture with other languages and cultures, accepting diversity. - Communication in English as well as in English for specific purposes and improving language knowledge. - Using ICT and digital tools. - Understanding the learning mobility and the European project participation’s importance. - Personal and professional development.
Lifelong learning and development of the programmes Logistics technician and Safety and security technician taught at our school demand teachers' constant education in the mentioned professions as well as in the field of general subjects. Internationalisation and cooperation with domestic as well as foreign employers enable not only our staff's training but also the development of new didactic techniques, tools and equipment, which they introduce into their teaching. We want our staff to exchange their experience and transfer their knowledge into foreign and domestic working environment. Active participation in international projects provides opportunities to compare our two educational programmes, the learning outcomes, the didactic techniques’ appropriateness to similar programmes abroad, which contributes to improved teaching and learning processes, better motivation and efficiency, reliability, curiosity, tolerance, flexibility and self-initiative of all the participants in the educational process. Consequently, our students become more interesting for domestic and foreign employers as their knowledge is comparable to the job seekers’ knowledge at the broad European labour market.
