Objectives

With the project, we wanted to increase the students' motivation to gain professional experience and education abroad, increase their interest in education and work in the engineering industry, and thus enable successful integration into the labor market in the EU. We pursued the following goals: - to increase readiness for mobility and lifelong learning of staff and students - get to know the work process and organization of a foreign company - motivate students to really get a job in the profession for which they were educated and not look for better-paid jobs in other branches after finishing school. - improve professional qualification and, as a result, enable the transfer of good ideas and technological solutions to domestic economic organizations - improve knowledge of information and communication technology - improve communication skills and professional terminology in a foreign language, namely in English and German - to increase students' self-confidence, flexibility, competitiveness, independence, adaptability, and self-initiative when integrating into a foreign environment - increase the employability of young people with greater readiness for mobility - increase the visibility of the school.

Background

With the project, we wanted to develop the students' international professional competences and improve recognition in the wider environment, mainly at the expense of adapting and offering content that will best meet the needs and labor market within the framework of educational programs. Training in a foreign working environment enables students and the accompanying teacher to experience the way of working and living abroad and thus expand both their professional and intercultural horizons. Additional knowledge about current competences and skills in the professional field can be used by teachers when planning changes in teaching methods and upgrading the open curriculum of professional subjects. We wanted to enable the students of the school to be employable and have the ability to adapt, because the labor market in the EU is very flexible and also needs flexible partners for whom working abroad will not be an obstacle. By participating in an internship abroad, students can learn more about possible career paths, acquire specific skills, evaluate or compare their professional competences with the requirements of foreign employers and improve their understanding of the economic, social and cultural situation in the EU.
