We wanted to improve professional (working in pharmacies and laboratories), intercultural (learning and accepting other cultures, adaptability), language (communicating in a foreign language, enriching professional terminology) and social competences (promoting independence, raising self-confidence). The goal of staff mobility was to develop professional competences and provide insight into international comparability, which contributes to raising the quality of education at our school. In addition, the participating teachers developed intercultural, social and linguistic competences, as did the accompanying teachers.
The project "Professional, cultural and language exchange as part of vocational education" was announced with the aim of strengthening international cooperation and developing the internationalization of the school. We expected mainly results related to students - improvement of professional knowledge and thus improvement of professional opportunities both in Slovenia and abroad and improvement of knowledge of a foreign language. Nevertheless, the project implements an important part of the European development plan of the school, as by transferring the results to other students and teachers, it affects the entire organization and its visibility in the wider environment. The project complements the general goals we set as a school - the development of key competencies of the 21st century for students and employees.
