Objectives

By staying abroad, we wanted to improve general competences, and by working with employers, we wanted to develop and upgrade professional competences in the production and service process. By learning from their own experiences, the participants will become more independent and self-initiative. They will acquire interdisciplinary and social skills and greatly improve their language competences or develop new ones. By working in a company and learning to learn (mentor-student), they will also acquire practical skills and the basics of entrepreneurship to establish an independent business path. At the same time, they will systematically manage documentation and monitor and analyze their progress. They will share what they have learned with primary school pupils, peers and employers. They will use ICT while connecting to social and interest networks, use different applications, and thereby spread experiences and insights. They will get to know a new culture and at the same time accept multiculturalism and develop empathy for those who think differently. They will realize that anyone can become a participant in the project, regardless of social status, culture, nationality and physical disabilities, which leads to respect human rights

Background

At the forefront of the application was concern for a high-quality and modern-oriented educational process and the integration of new findings by introducing new methods and forms of work. With the application, we wanted to encourage stakeholders to participate in European mobility programs and create a network in an international environment, the goal of which would be the exchange of experience at the national and local level. We were particularly interested in the relevance of knowledge acquired at home compared to foreign school systems and the needs of employers in an international environment. At the school, we wanted to encourage the development of common Europe 2020 strategies for growth, an innovative economy, sustainability, care for the environment, inclusion of young people, social equality and better employability, as well as a EU orientation towards developing into a knowledge society. We wanted to show participants the need for well-educated staff and the importance of training for lifelong learning. Last but not least, due to the predominantly farming population, our students have fewer opportunities to participate in EU mobility programs, and we wanted to make the EU mobility strategy more accessible to them.
