By implementing this project we wanted to contribute to the further achievement of the goals from the five-year internationalization strategy. The first goal of this project was to expand and strengthen the network of reliable and diverse partners who can contribute to the realization of all strategic goals. This applies to both, international host partners and partners from the economic sector at local, regional and / or national level who are involved either as outgoing mobility participants or incoming mobility hosts). In addition, we wanted to increase the recognition of the school as a host organization for incoming mobility of students and staff (strategic goal 2). The third goal of this project is related to our strategic goal to raise the quality of mobility projects, this time focusing on recognizing student learning outcomes and integrating acquired knowledge, skills and competencies into the curriculum and other school activities. All project goals will definitely contribute to the internationalization of the school through implementing various forms of activities - those already used and the new ones.
We applied for the Mobility for Sustainability project to make a new step towards the implementation of the 5-year internationalization strategy of our school, with the aim to increase the percentage and/or level of achieved goals from the first 3 years. This means that we wanted to strengthen and continue the cooperation with existing partners and to form new partnerships in accordance with the set goals, which would ensure the achievement of the remaining goals set in the 5-year internationalization strategy. In addition, we wanted to include all types of activities - short-term and long-term mobility for students, teaching / training of the staff at school and in a company; further, we invited a foreign expert again to share his expertise with students and teachers of our school. The contents of individual activities were also planned in cooperation with Slovenian partners from the economic sector, who represent important support for our projects - in this way we can plan activities in accordance with the needs of the labor market and in terms of acquiring skills that can not be gained in comparable scope and/or form as abroad.
