We see mobilities as an opportunity for students to develop into independent adults, find themselves successfully in a new environment and upgrade their competences. Mobility is an opportunity to raise the level of the professional profile of teaching staff and promote quality in the educational process. The project enables us to stay in touch with current and new knowledge, to upgrade professional competences and exchange examples of good practices with others. One of the main goals we pursue with Erasmus+ mobilities is the tendency towards the modernity of the school curriculum. We are constantly updating the content of the curriculum and applying modern learning and teaching methods to the learning process, which we learn through the exchange of experiences and good practices abroad. We encourage teacher training to strive for constant connection with global professional trends and the labour market. Teachers transfer the experience gained from abroad into their own teaching and annual work plan. Practical training with work abroad enables the integration of professional and soft skills and competences. Students build on their theoretical knowledge in practice and in daily organizational challenges. We strive to encourage the development of lifelong key competences in students. With teaching methods that are more student-oriented, we also encourage independence, responsibility, creativity and innovation in students. One of the goals of the project was that we are inclusive and mobility is available for all students with priority to students from socially weaker backgrounds. We try to give the opportunity for mobility even to students who do not have the best grades, but who have the desire and potential to upgrade their knowledge in the professional field and are judged by teachers to be responsible and reliable in their practical work. All students go through the selection process. They are evaluated by several teachers (e.g. teachers of foreign languages and professional subjects from which practice takes place). We invite students to take part in Erasmus+ mobilities during class hours and on days of mandatory elective subjects. We also cooperate with school guidance counsellors and psychologists to include socially weaker students or students with special needs. We send accompanying teachers on mobilities in order to empower minor students.
We have been successfully participating in the Erasmus+ project for many years. It allows us to deepen cooperation with our long-standing partners, who provide high-quality learning places for students and high-quality staff training. We look for new partners and expand our international network which allows us to remain competent on the labour market. Based on the experience from abroad, we update the content of the school curricula. Cooperation with educational organizations leads us to various examples of good practices in the introduction of modern learning and teaching methods, with which we encourage creativity and innovation in students by developing specific teaching methods and also developing key competencies. With Erasmus+ mobilities we raise the level of the professional profile of the teaching staff and thus also the quality of the educational process. Student work practice abroad enables the integration of professional and soft competences - in practice and in daily organizational challenges. On previous mobilities, participants had the opportunity to upgrade their theoretical knowledge, connect it with practice and gain life experience abroad (e.g. working in an unfamiliar environment, adapting, establishing communication, teamwork). Individuals develop on a personal level, and we also develop the quality of education. Every new mobility gives a new opportunity to learn, which is why we wish to continue our participation in the Erasmus+ projects.
