With this project, we want to build a link between all people, no matter what specific needs we have as individuals. In essence we are all the same, we need someone who loves us, we need something to do and somewhere to live. Our needs are therefore the same and we use them in different ways. Some need more, others less support and help. Differences between people deepen the segregated mode of education from the very beginning, which later proceeds into a separate employment system; therefore, there is very little connections between people without and with special needs special. That contributes to the ignorance towards people with special needs by the majority population and consequently to the deepening of prejudices against them. Our project is based on the participation of people without and with special needs. It will raise awareness of what brings us together and through the experience it will offer participants information on people with special needs, which are one of the key aspects of changing the prejudices we have about people with special needs, due to lack of experience with them. Project goals: -To establish a link and to (permanently) work with local organizations that include people with special needs, and include them in activities (VDC Zagorje ob Savi, Society Sožitje Hrastnik, Mali princ-society for improving the quality of life of people with disabilities in development, Zasavska society for cerebral palsy, Dnevni center ŠENT Trbovlje, Elementary school Tončke Čeč, primary school Slavka Gruma). -For the final event Games Without Borders, we will invite Kindergarten Trbovlje, all elementary schools in Trbovlje and Gymnasium and Trbovlje Economic High School to participate. -Share practices in this area from partner countries and use them in the local environment. -Active participation of people with special needs in the final event. -Creating an idea of inclusive activity in the local environment of individual participating partner organizations.
