Step 4 Change is a project about exploring different types of activism for the human rights of the LGBTQIA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex, asexual and others) community. We want to empower LGBTQIA+ youth and offer them a space where they can find solutions, empower each other and gain allies that will give them strength to carry on or to begin with activism. During the project we plan to address issues tackling LGBTQIA+ community through different methods of non-formal education. With the project we will promote and increase skills and attitude of active citizenship, learn about different types of activism, increase knowledge about human rights topics, gain LGBTQIA+ (self)advocacy skills and build intercultural partnerships.
