The participants from five different countries and organizations will meet in this project. They will have different background and different experiences, however they all meet because they want to learn, practice and have an intercultural experience. Furthermore, they all have a need to express themselves in different, creative and artistic ways. This is the context for the youth exchange, and what will be the basis of the activities and the methods we will be using during this project. The end goal for the youth exchange is to create beautiful, colorful graffiti that hopefully will appear on in the public places in Ptuj. After the project the art itself, and the knowledge and skills the participants have learned will be spread and disseminated in their organizations and local communities. Also we want to continue a successful partnership that was started on the YE “Touch with Art” which was a youth exchange that includes different fields of art, later on our partnership continued in another project together with Spanish partner in the project about puppet theatre as a means of expression of different Human Rights Issues . As the project has been written by youngsters who met during the YE in Armenia we want our voices be heard and we become active citizens for our communities, to speak up and do something good, to be an example for many young people in future be engaged in erasmus plus programme. “Talented Hands/Eye” will be used as a tool to spread peaceful and creative messages of cultural and social topics, and personal diversity. Also, the importance of youth active involvement, active citizenship and dialogue in order to make good changes will be emphasized through our activities. The following objectives for this youth exchange are: - To increase the young people’s knowledge about the history and philosophy of street art and its possibilities, by introducing them to the topic and showing examples. - To teach basic graffiti and street art techniques. - To create street art and graffiti in the public spaces in the city of the host-organization. - To increase the young people’s knowledge about active participation, active citizenship and intercultural dialogue. - To increase the young people’s abilities in taking part in public debates and creating the public spaces in their local community. - To give young people an opportunity to perform, formulate and express their voices and messages in an artistic and creative way that suits them. - To develop more initiatives in the field of Erasmus+ and art, cultural diversity and youth participation in the social life issues within the framework of the Erasmus + program.
