Background

The aim of John the Baptist Church Primary School and Kindergarten is to be a modern and unconventional school of a family type. The main vision is to bring into education not only innovative elements of education, more creativity and practical skills, but especially co-operation with parents. We want to replace formalism and verbalism in teaching with innovative methods. We want to promote a dialogue between the pupil and the teacher who develop creativity on both sides. Pupils are involved in the process and they are activated as much as possible. Our school is open to a new trend in pedagogy, which bring funnier and easier learning for the child. Last but not least in the current global world, we place great emphasis on the English agenda. Our goal is to support the child in the 5th grade to be able to communicate in English language. We are aware of the need for teachers to continually grow and educate themselves not only in the field of methodological, but also in linguistics. For this reason, we have decided to join the program Erasmus + and use the experience of foreign education institutions. The topic of our project is Teaching Skills for the 21st century.
