The aim of the project was participants ́ cultural and professional enrichment of elements of Latvian culture, and the exposure of Slovak culture in the countries visited. Partial objectives were: 1. To learn about the cultural particularities in the arts of Latvia. 2. To become familiar with the education and working conditions in the field of art in Latvia. 3. To increase the qualification of the students: to improve their artistic skills and abilities through the international experience. 4. To improve the social and linguistic competences of all participants. 5. To learn the practical training practice, curriculum, teaching methods, and educational needs in Latvia. 6. To establish professional artistic relationships at the international level. 7. To give the project partners the opportunity to know the specifics of Slovak art. 8. To allow participating partner-country to familiarize themselves with the system of education in Slovakia.
Previous experience with Erasmus + mobility was the impuls for participation in the project. As, during previous years, our students visited several countries with very positive responses and results under this program (Spain, Portugal, Italy), this year we wanted to provide students the opportunity to get to know a different culture, school system in other country and gain personal experience in studying their field abroad.
