The goal of the project was to expand the professional competences of students in the field of mechatronics in the MOSAIC program. Activity no. 1 acquisition of professional competences in the field of mechatronics, especially in: - basic electrical compact circuits - logical combinational and sequential electrical contact circuits - Programming of programmable automata according to the IEC 61 131-3 in. Educators should have gained the necessary experience and information in the field of defectoscopy of materials. Activity no. 2 job shadowing: - detection of internal material defects with the help of ultrasound (OLYMPUS) - determining the composition of metals with the help of spectral analysis and the influence of the composition on their technological properties - determining the percentage concentration of selected elements - measurement of roughness and hardness of materials (MAHR gauge). The acquired skills were to be used for the innovation of the educational programs of all taught engineering disciplines. In the project, we also decided to apply the ECVET system, and together with our partner, we developed the units of learning outcomes in advance, including the method of evaluation and the evaluation form.
Employers in the our region meet with experienced self-governing experts. Our school educates experts in technical fields, and that is why we decided to make the offered fields more attractive and, above all, to expand the portfolio of skills of our students. During their studies at school, they learn everything that is in accordance with the state and school education system. Since we are a school that has successfully joined the dual education system (around 220 students, and 25 companies), the demands from the employer are also greater and on a larger scale. The professional internship at the Central Industrial School in Chrudim will build on these skills and competencies and expand them with skills, especially in the field of mechatronics and teaching in a language that our school does not yet teach, but is widespread in many systems. It is a tutorial on programmable automata. The project builds on the long-term cooperation and successful implementation of previous similar projects. As part of job shadowing, our goal was to innovate school education systems also with defectoscopy of materials, since a large part of our departments is focused on mechanical engineering and the partner school has developed this issue very well.
