(Anglický preklad: Čo ste chceli dosiahnuť realizáciou projektu?) Through the implementation of the project, we wanted our students to gain knowledge and skills in their studying and professional focus and a working environment that our school cannot offer them. That means teaching their subject in English, equipment and software that the school does not (yet) use, and learning to work in international, linguistically and culturally mixed teams. That is very important in their future working life and also gaining young people for technical education through the offer of European projects.
(Anglický preklad: Prečo ste sa prihlásili do tohto projektu?) The European Erasmus+ project has already become part of the school curriculum. Since the beginning, we gradually got involved in the Socrates, Comenius, Leonardo da Vinci, and Erasmus+ programs, and every time there was a positive response to the involvement in the projects from students and their parents, teachers, the public and even companies and foreign partners. For our school, it is already natural to plan foreign mobilities for pupils and incorporate them into the annual plan. Pupils who participated in the Erasmus+ project can acquire new or better theoretical knowledge and practical skills in their professional field, which their home school cannot provide, because of insufficient personnel and material support in selected professional areas. They can gain them in partners’ schools involved in the project. The interest of our school is to provide, besides traditional education, added European value in provided studies so that its graduates can apply more efficiently in the European labour market.
