Through the implementation of the project, we wanted to acquire specific practical skills suitable for the auto mechanic profession in the students and enable them to develop professional knowledge and practical experience and gain experience from different procedures in the performance of the profession in other countries. During the mobility, we wanted the pupils to acquire selected knowledge, skills and competences from the use of specialized concern tools and preparations, to gain new practical experience in repairs, detection, measurement and diagnosis of faults with special concern equipment of companies. We wanted to give students the opportunity to work on facilities that are not located in the region, such as diagnostic device for checking control units and actuators of cars. With the master, we wanted to gain professional knowledge from concern diagnostics and get to know innovative methods in the field of auto mechanics, so that he could master procedures and gain skills from using them in practical teaching of students. With the project, we wanted to increase the language competence of the students and the German language master. An important goal was to consolidate and develop cooperation with a partner organization.
Private secondary vocational school, Hliník nad Hronom prepares students in three-year courses - for skilled worker occupations, where, in addition to industry knowledge, a high degree of targeted practical skills is required. During their studies, students practice in the school's workshops and with employers in the regions in car repair shops. However, practice during studies does not allow students to acquire skills on all machines and equipment used in car repair shops, including diagnostics of hybrid cars and electric cars. We signed up for the project in order for the students to acquire skills on sophisticated machines and equipment in a modern car service, to know the principles of these equipment and to be able to work with them when they graduate from school. Such modern facilities are available to a partner organization with which we have long-standing good relations, and some pupils are thinking about their future employment with this partner.
