By implementing the project, we wanted to achieve that we could enable other students of our school to participate in an international project and participate in a professional internship abroad. We wanted to build on the successful operation in this direction from previous years. Pupils are aware of this opportunity and, in fact, many of them plan to take part in these activities, which they are very much looking forward to from the first year. Our goal was for students and employees of the school to broaden their horizons in terms of professional and personal, to get to know the system of education and health care abroad, to improve in terms of professional, professional and human. The aim was to enable as many students as possible to complete continuous professional practice within 3 weeks in a real medical facility outside the Slovak Republic. The aim was also for students and teachers to learn new things or new trends within their fields of study, to have the opportunity to be inspired, to learn something new, respectively, consolidate what they already know and, of course, pass on the acquired knowledge to their classmates and colleagues. By participating in the project, we wanted, among other things, to ensure continuity in the implementation of professional internships for students and school staff at the international level.
We applied for this project because the international projects are an integral part of the life and functioning of our school. We also applied for international mobility under the Leonardo da Vinci program. Of course, we also continued these activities within the Erasmus plus program. As part of the Erasmus plus program, we also managed to obtain the Erasmus + Charter in the field of vocational education and training. Later, we became Erasmus Accreditation in Vocational Education and Training. We see a lot of sense in the implementation of projects. Feedback from trainees is always very positive. On the open day for 9th grade primary school students, they tell us about the study, that the strong motivation, why they want to attend our school is, that they know that we are sending school students on professional internships abroad. From the very first moment, many freshmen aim to get successful candidates for an internship abroad. International projects have become part of the life of our school. The school, their students and staff live with these activities. In this way, too, we succeed in spreading the good name and credit of our school to the general public and the professional public. The greatest reward for us are satisfied students and their smile on their face and joy in their eyes.
