Societies all over the world have been trying to solve the problem of discrimination for a long time .One of the solutions will be to educate people towards tolerance and acceptance since their childhood. This project could be the way to lead young people towards these values through intercultural exchanges which will be a great opportunity for students and teachers to travel, learn languages, get to know multicultural society, respect the human rights and European values and accept different forms of diversity among us (racial,gender,cultural,age,minorities,...). Two Short - term joint staff training events will help the participant teachers to get better in their proffession and be able to lead their students to become more tolerant individuals. Better language, IT, communication, organisation, interpersonal and social skills will help teachers in their future inernational project work. Students will learn how to discover inner diversity as a source of creativity and richness inside everyone of us and promote tolerance towards the others. The project aims to meet the needs of the schools which were researched before the application process. The implementation of large scale of the project activities will lead to positive impact on personal, institutional, national and international level. 22 participants will take part in the mobility C2/Portugal, 22 students in the mobility C3/Italy, 21 students in the mobility C4/Spain. The activities of the project will be focused on the serious entire problem of tension resulting from discrimination. We will promote an awareness of the importance of cultural and linguistic diversity within Europe, as well as of the need to fight racism, prejudice and stereotypes. We will try to make provisions for learners with special needs and in particular by helping to promote their integration into mainstream education and training. The students will research about discrimination and social status using various methods like interview, questionaries, research, observation to get to know and use IT - technology in general for planning, implementing, documenting and presenting the results and IT communication tools (chat, email, video, internet platform eTwinning) for commmunicating while working on the project. Through workshops our students will create various products against discrimination, racism, towards tolerance like presentations, videos, multilingual dictionary, project´s anthem, multilingual book about the discriminated heroes, texts, posters/flyers, songs, paintings/drawings, mascot, logo, calendar,... which will help in better dissemination of the project results at school, in town and wider public. All the results (targible and untargible) will be involved into the curriculum of each school and used in educational process. This will lead to better educational results, getting university degree or a better job which will raise the living standard of the population in national and international level.
Societies all over the world have been trying to solve the problem of discrimination for a long time. One of the solutions is to educate people towards tolerance and acceptance of diversity since their childhood. This project was the way to lead young people towards these values through intercultural exchanges which was a great opportunity for students and teachers to travel, learn languages, get to know multicultural society, respect the human rights and European values and accept different forms of diversity among us (racial, gender, cultural, age, minorities,...). Two Short - term joint staff training events helped the participant teachers to get better in their profession and be able to lead their students to become more tolerant individuals. Better language, IT, communication, organisational, interpersonal and social skills which the teachers gained through the two mobilities have helped the teachers in their future international project work. There were 2 teachers from Slovakia participating in the mobility C 1 in Turkey, 1 teacher from Italy participating in the mobility C 1 in Turkey. There were 2 participating teachers from Italy and 2 participating teachers from Portugal in mobility C5 in Slovakia. During the mobilities the participanting students and teachers learned how to discover inner diversity as a source of creativity and richness inside everyone of us and promote tolerance towards the others. The project aimed to meet the needs of the schools which were researched before the application process. According to the research done at the end of the project, the participating schools, which stayed in the project partnership, met the needs of the schools, nearly in all aspects in spite of the very difficult period of time for managing the project due to Covid- 19. The implementation of large scale of the project activities led to positive impact on personal, institutional, national and international level. A large number of the students, participating in mobilities or local activities got better results at school, were accepted to universities or got better working positions on the labour market on national or international level. 11 participants took part in the mobility C 2/Portugal from Slovakia, 41 participants from Italy, who participated virtually in the mobility C 2 / Portugal, 8 students from Slovakia participated in the mobility C3/Italy, / 10 students from Portugal participated in the mobility C 3/Italy. The participants from mobility in Spain were divided into the mobility in Portugal and Italy because Spain left the project at the beginning for serious organisational issues of the institution. The activities of the project were focused on the entire problem of tension resulting from discrimination. We promoted an awareness of the importance of cultural and linguistic diversity within Europe, as well as, of the need to fight racism, prejudice and stereotypes. We tried to make provisions for learners with special needs and in particular by helping to promote their integration into mainstream education and training. We joined to the mobilities and local activities students with fewer opportunities to help them to integrate into the majority of students. The students researched about discrimination and social status using various methods like interview, questionaries, research, observation to get to know and use IT - technology in general for planning, implementing, documenting and presenting the results and IT communication tools (chat, email, video, internet platform eTwinning) for commmunication while working on the project. Through workshops our students created various products against discrimination, racism, towards tolerance like presentations, videos, multilingual dictionary, project´s anthem, multilingual book about the discriminated heroes, texts, posters/flyers, songs, paintings/drawings, mascot, logo, calendar,...and used the webpage of the school and the webpage of the project, which helped in better dissemination of the project results at school, in town and wider public. All the results (targible and untargible) were involved into the curriculum of each school and used in educational process. This has led to better educational results, getting to university or a better job which raised the living standard of the population in national and international level in each participating school.
