The needs of the project: 1. lack of intercultural dialogue between young people or misunderstandings which are happening - this mainly happens because the no experiences between the youth and other cultures, news from media and others that it is quite difficult to find common ground and solutions to talk about to overcome barriers, predjudices. 2. not enough understanding of the cultural identity - they consider that things are well the way they are because that is how things have always been. On the other hand many youth wish to improve update and adapt any venture so it is better suited to current situation (for example migration) 3. young people are confused, often incline to discrimination, intolerance, judging other cultures without knowing them Because of the 2 issues mentioned above there are many issues regarding tolerance among the youth and the other cultures 4. not enough active youngsters in local community who promote common understandings for other cultures - youngsters are sometimes close-minded and they consider the situation doesn´t concern them Our objectives: 1. Firstly, we want to support 35 young people, out of which 15 with fewer opportunities from the Slovakia, Spain, Poland, Greece, and Turkey to better understand the importance of intercultural dialogue and to offer them the space where they can exchange their ideas about local difficulties and potential solutions on the topic. 2. To help the 35 participants (included the 5 group leaders) from the 5 countries to have a better understanding of the real situation by experience of MULTICULTURAL city of Istanbul and meeting participants from another countries. 3.. To provide the opportunity to the 35 participants from the partner organizations to acquire knowledge about the other countries, and find out the connection between the cultural identity and expressing themselves. 4. 35 young people from the 5 partner countries will develop their personal and interpersonal skills , their 8 key competences and as well their soft skills which will help them in the future in their human interactions, active social participation in the local community.
