The international youth exchange “Search for the hero inside yourself ” helps young people to discover, reflect and develop their aspirations, interest, unique abilities and talents. With this youth exchange, we would like to empower young people to be architects of their lives, motivate them to become active citizens and to contribute to positive change in their communities and help to prevent them from social exclusion. We would like to discover together how to become heroes of our own lives. We want to strengthen our self-esteem by learning to believe in ourselves, to be proud of our doing, to use our talents and to influence our surroundings. We would like to exchange ideas on what does it mean for each of us to be included into our community and how to work on our talents, how to change our city to the place where everybody has a possibility to turn their dreams into reality and use their talents. The goal of the youth exchange is with help of non-formal methods to foster the idea of the development of talents, inclusion, tolerance, solidarity, active participation in civic life and openness to diversity.
