Involving 30 young people aged 18-26 from 5 countries, the project "GREENtrepreneurship" aims to promote sustainable entrepreneurship through raising awareness of environmental problems and exploring different approaches towards the issue as an entrepreneur. Consequently, we want to inspire young people to implement environmentally friendly practices into their everyday lives as well. Through developing problem solving, critical thinking, teamwork, self-presentation and communication skills, the participants will learn how to boost their employability and potential on the labour market. Furthermore, activities aimed at creating business and project ideas will support the participants in turning their ideas into action. We aim to create an opportunity for these young people from Slovakia, Estonia, Italy, Lithuania and Spain to come together and tackle current relevant issues connected with the topic, share experiences and build friendships in a non-formal international environment. The groups will meet for 8 activity days, where they will together explore and share knowledge on how to adopt eco-friendly practices and prioritize environmentally sustainable approaches in daily lives and in entrepreneurship, while also building skills which are necessary for success in the field. The learning will be carried out by methods of non-formal education in form of workshops, discussions, presentations, simulations, theatre and cultural events. An overall aim of the project is also to provide space for and facilitate intercultural learning among the participants.
