We aimed to design the learning environment so that students learn best.We can make our students to improve problem-solving and reasoning skills by acquiring the mathematical knowledge that they will most need in everyday life. General purposes of our desire to realize this project as follows: To support the professional development of our staff, to strengthen the foreign language competence, to ensure that qualifications are recognized better,to improve the capacity and the international dimension of our institution To gain experience by examining the European education system in place To takethe course of mathematics and the body movements applied in the Netherlands To know European culture better,to increase information sharing among colleagues by developing cooperation with Europe and intercultural communication Developing English language skills to enable teachers to follow international publications To increase success in mathematics teaching To ensure that our teachers work productively and efficiently by enriching their educational perspectives Gaining awareness of Europeanness and ensuring intercultural dialogue
Our studies showed that Turkey stays behind the other countriesin the field of mathematics.Success of our school reflects conclusion.We mentioned statistical data in the development plan section.At the same time, when examining the school exams,it is also seen that the mathematics success rate of our students is below the other courses.In line with this result,increasing the proficiency of our mathematics teachers with a project team of 12 teachers,which a majority of the team is composed of mathematics teachers, we believe that the provision of personal and professional developments together with new methods and techniques will contribute positively to the success of mathematics.Our mathematics teachers,although they are educated,they are lacking in new methods and techniques,it is insufficient to transfer the existing knowledge to the students.This deficiency is due to the lack of sufficient information in educational psychology and pedagogical formation in the education system in universities in our country and the ignorance of the personal development of teachersat the end of university education.The development of professional competence skills that our teachers will gain at the end of this course and the use of new and different methods and techniques in teaching mathematics will increase the current success.
