The goals we want to achieve with this project are: -To provide teachers with student coaching skills, which is an innovative approach. -To increase the school success of our students - Unlocking the individual potential of our students -To ensure that our students are aware of their own characteristics and strengths, and to set appropriate targets for the situation they are in. -To educate students who can take responsibility and plan time focused on success. -To enable students to learn to work effectively -To ensure that our students use the right communication techniques -To increase the self-confidence of our students, to increase the number of students participating in all kinds of competitions by at least 50% -Ensuring that each teacher coaches 5 students - To provide 50% reduction in the number of students who apply to the guidance service due to the decrease in the success of studying - Attracting parents to the educational environment with student coaching -To make our school a preferable school in the region -To increase the skills of our teachers in line with the EU development plan - Bringing our school to the international dimension
There are many problems in our school, which provides education services in line with inclusive education and has a multicultural structure. We have refugee students, students with special needs, inclusive students, children who do not receive adequate parent support, and students who cannot reveal their potential in our classrooms. Despite many efforts to increase the academic and social skills of our students, the desired level of success cannot be achieved. Teachers, on the other hand, stated that they needed a new and different system for students who could not reveal their potential due to the crowded classrooms at the teachers' board meeting. As a result of the researches, it was thought that student coaching could provide solutions to problems. We have prepared our student coaching project in order to reveal the potential of the students, to guide the parents in the right way, and to reveal the successful sides of the students. Due to the lack of in-service programs to receive coaching training, we applied to this project to take a course from a specialist course center in Europe and to make on-the-job observations.
