Individuals trained in Industrial Automation and Electrical and Electronic Technologies generally carry out their work in closed areas in factories, workshops or workplaces. Since the work is not routine, they constantly solve problems and make designs. This makes the profession active and enjoyable. In terms of their duties, they interact with other employees and carry out their duties in coordination. For this reason, students are in interactive communication with both machines and devices and people. Jobs such as controlling robot systems, installing and maintaining programmable control systems, operating computer-controlled machines, working with computer networks require high attention and systematic work. It is an indispensable responsibility for teachers and students in our field to keep up with the ever-changing and developing technology and to follow the developments in the world. Unfortunately, this activity cannot go beyond the theory. We have many successes in theoretical competitions in which our students participate; For example, although TUBITAK has won the first place in Turkey in energy efficiency for the last three years, it has not been able to show this success in National and International applied robot and industrial design competitions. With Industry 4.0 practices, which are also adopted and supported by the Ministry, we aimed to train our students as digital school writers, entrepreneurs and competitive individuals who can transform the knowledge they have acquired during their education into skills, develop products, think scientifically. In addition, as a project output of our school; Within the scope of the Institutional External Evaluation studies implemented by the Ministry of National Education; Project and School Sector cooperation studies, which are among the "Self-Evaluation" and "Performance Evaluation" criteria, and increasing the capacity by developing the Management and Organization competencies, have also contributed to the goal of being a Brand school in accordance with our 2015-2019 strategic plan. (Additional performance) As a result of the internship activities in our project, which we have done in 9 different fields with 9 different institutions in 5 EU countries; 1- Mechanic – Mechatronic System Technologies 2- Industrial Robot Technologies, ABB robot usage, Kuka robot usage, Robotino robot usage 3- Flexible production Technologies, 3D print technologies 4- Artificial intelligence technologies, arduino technology 5- Sensor Technologies, Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Technologies 6- Video and sound systems Technology, LCD panels technology 7- Programmable Logic Control technology, PLC language software and simulation technology 8- Servo Pneumatic and Hydraulic Systems 9- Closed Circuit Camera and Control systems, 10-Mobile phone and SMD applications The basic deficiencies in their subjects have been corrected. The society has a negative view of vocational education. While vocational education is at the level of 70% in European countries, the direction in our country is at the level of 30%. This situation causes great difficulties in our industrial infrastructure and in finding the required personnel. Sector representatives complain of not being able to find qualified personnel all the time. In addition, with this internship activity, we contribute to the orientation to vocational education by breaking the prejudice existing in the society. It is among the important outputs of this study that our students reach a certain level of competence in the field and in the subjects mentioned above, as well as in recognizing new cultures, language development, globalization, entrepreneurship and effective communication. These students, who graduated from our school, took part in the sector with European education. As a result of these trainings and studies, Ordu Çamsan Ağaç Sanayi A.Ş. After the protocol signed with the company, our students, who had their internship abroad, first got a scholarship from this company and then they were employed in the company. Therefore, it has made an important contribution to the Strategic Targets 2.2 and 2.3 of our strategy of internationalization and training professional staff with international competence. Our companion teachers, who will participate in the project activities, have directly participated in the internship activities since they were selected from our vocational course teachers. Thus, they transferred the gains they gained in training and internship activities to public institutions and businesses operating in our province and region, starting from our institution. In addition, these teachers took part in the revision of the modules. Even after the project activities are over, we develop our knowledge and experience by increasing our quality at the level of vocational education and training, by ensuring continuity in cooperation with our school and the protocols signed with the institutions with which we will carry out joint activities. In this context, it was agreed with these institutions to apply for vocational training strategic partnerships in the 2023 call period.
In the 21st century, there has been a great revolution in information and communication technologies. The importance of investment in education and human resources development for economic and social development has increased. Efforts have been accelerated in order to bring the knowledge, values and skills needed at the global level to young people and adults, and to enable young people and adults to access quality education at all levels. Education-related targets, which are among the EU 2020 basic targets, have been adopted and put into practice by our Ministry of National Education. In this context, special importance has been given to Vocational Education. Important studies have been carried out on issues such as increasing the quality of vocational high schools, admitting students to these schools by examination, updating the course curricula, opening thematic schools, and encouraging the private sector to vocational education. Vocational Education development studies continue on a national basis. In this context, infrastructure and transformation studies are among the priorities of our school's 2015-2019 strategic plan, determined within the scope of Education and Training 2020; Necessary work continues at our school to achieve our long-term goals in areas such as Lifelong Learning, European Qualifications Framework, learning mobility, professional development of teachers and students. In addition, relevant and quality skills and competencies for employability, innovation, digital skills, active citizenship and well-being, promoting equality, non-discrimination and civic competences, full adoption of the digital age, facilitating continuous professional development, learning and labor mobility. Priority is given to important issues such as transparency and recognition of skills and qualifications in vocational training activities at our school. Our school has been working successfully in different fields for years within the framework of acting together in harmony with technology. This situation affects our school's corporate culture, teacher competencies and student development in a positive way. In our work with local and foreign partners, we have the opportunity to get to know different people and cultures, as well as to achieve different gains by applying good practices in our own school. According to the data of the Eastern Black Sea Development Agency, the number of companies operating in the manufacturing industry in Ordu is 1377 and the number of people employed in this field is 15,547. 9 of these companies have R&D units, and the number of companies with quality control units is 56. In terms of employment, 5236 people are employed in 80 companies in the field of ready-made clothing production, and 4602 people are employed in 451 companies in the field of food products manufacturing. We see from the applications they made to İŞKUR that these companies desperately need qualified professionals. The positive change in our students who participated in internships abroad in this regard is clearly seen in the project results reports. Our school is also very successful in theoretical training. Our students succeeded in winning the 2016, 2017 and 2018 Turkey championships three years in a row in TÜBİTAK Energy efficiency project competitions. We are the school that sent the most projects to the TÜBİTAK 2204-A High School Students Research Projects Competition regional exhibition. Despite these successes, Factory automation and Sequential control systems, AAB and KUKA industrial robots, sensors and technical materials are insufficient in our Workshop infrastructure. Our main goal is to train our students in the best way in the applications of "industrial automation, robotics and artificial intelligence", which have been used in factory automation systems in recent years and will replace traditional Mechatronic systems, and become the qualified staff needed by Turkey and Europe. Likewise, it is aimed that our students will be trained as qualified personnel who have developed themselves in the infrastructure of the use of artificial intelligence and industry 4.0 applications in CCTV and mobile systems, which have spread rapidly in the electronic system infrastructure in recent years. Application and internship opportunities for both fields are not possible in our province and in our immediate surroundings. The fact that the school machinery parks are insufficient against the devices used in the enterprises, the enterprises do not request students for internships or accept very few students, the students are treated as "apprentices" and do errands, etc. Due to reasons, internship studies cannot reach their purpose. It is obvious that the internship application is necessary in order to learn these subjects on site and from the experts. In this context, in the internship activities to be held in the Automation Field, "ABB and Kuka robot programming work, Communication with sensors, Assembly of Carrier systems and PLC, Scenario Applications in production stations", "Transmission systems, installation of CCTV systems, network settings" for the field of Electronics. and SMD staff applications and elimination of mobile control malfunctions"
