The results and goals we want to achieve by implementing the project are given below. - To eliminate our deficiencies in food and beverage and travel accommodation areas on an international scale - Expanding our skills training agreements with businesses in the world's leading tourism region such as Antalya, by carrying out more projects with institutions in tourism-developed regions in Europe and transferring the results to our school - Ensuring continuity in the Erasmus+ program and other international projects for our institution's quality improvement and internationalization strategy - Reaching the quality to host institutions abroad under the umbrella of Erasmus+ - Observing new techniques, training organizations and training materials applied abroad and including them in our institution's training - Advanced learning of English, the main language of tourism, on both staff and student basis - Ensuring the strengthening of our students in employment channels and improving their CVs - Our students' professional, foreign language, social and cultural development and becoming international individuals - Increasing the institutional capacity of our school, increasing national and international cooperation
A report and a needs analysis were created in which the strengths and weaknesses of our school were determined. According to this analysis and the report, the areas that we want to improve and eliminate the deficiencies of our school have been determined. In order to reach these results, the results of the observations and internships we have made with the previous Erasmus+ Projects of our school were also used. In this context, it has been seen that there is a need for improvement in our food and beverage area, open buffet preparation and service. Because tourism establishments generally offer open buffet service, therefore they expect a qualification in this direction from the kitchen and service personnel. In the trainings held at the practice hotel of our school, open buffet preparation and service is carried out only at breakfast and with a small variety. Travel accommodation area, on the other hand, is an area that has been renewed quite a lot with the competition in the tourism sector. Businesses are making innovations in both front office services and housekeeping services day by day in order to increase customer satisfaction. The European dimension of these innovations and practices should be learned and included in our school and our students should develop in this area. Therefore, the Erasmus+ project, which provides many opportunities in this regard, has been applied and internship programs have been prepared for the specified needs.
