Objectives

It was aimed to improve not only their foreign language skills and get to know different cultures but also advanced technologies used in Europe in the maintenance and troubleshooting applications of "Power Unit, Distribution (Transmission) Panels, LV/MV Panels, Solar Panels" electrical and electronic connections of Solar Energy Systems, which are theoretically taught in our school, which is among the course modules in the EET Field of our students, to see the innovations, methods and practices in place, to get information, to gain experience by participating in the practices, to increase their practice and to develop their professional skills. With the project, it was aimed that the students transfer their knowledge and experiences, the new methods and good practices they learned to our country, and share their applications in schools and businesses with their colleagues and industry in our region and our country, through dissemination activities.

Background

Vocational high schools play a key role in the training of qualified intermediate personnel, which is one of the biggest needs in renewable energy investments that are increasing in Turkey. Renewable energy sector is a new employment area for Electrical Electronics Technology (EET) students. Majority of our graduates tend to this sector. The absence of a revolving fund business in our school where our students can be involved in on-the-job training and production process and the inability to establish Solar energy systems workshops due to high installation costs; In addition, since the companies where they will do internship are not enough in our city, the courses are taught with a theoretical focus away from practice. There are difficulties in training professional staff with the knowledge, skills and competencies demanded by the labor market. Participants on the electrical installation of solar energy systems and new applications good learning, to develop their professional knowledge and skills; the size of our Solar Energy Systems AB school recognition, receiving information about technological innovations to meet the needs of this project was prepared for it.
