Our partner schools have renewable energy or agriculture areas. 9 staff in charge of vocational education in our schools participated on the job shadowing activity in Germany. Our project goal is to monitor our vocational education staff in Germany , who are pioneers in the use of solar energy in agricultural irrigation systems. In addition, our aim is to transfer the positive gains gained in EU dimension to vocational education and agriculture sector. In this way, it is aimed to educate qualified personnel required by the sector and to reach qualified employment of our students and to contribute to both the producer and the country's economy by reducing energy costs.
There are processes that require a lot of energy consumption during agricultural production operations. Motor and electricity are also widely used during these operations. The use of renewable energy sources has become an inevitable necessity for environmental problems arising from the direct or indirect use of fossil fuels, the risk of global warming and the effective prevention of rising oil prices, and the reduction of electricity and motorin input in agriculture. Solar energy from renewable energy sources are very suitable for agricultural activities in our province and our project has been applied in this framework. To increase the quality of vocational education; depends on increasing institutional capacity and personal and professional development of vocational education personnel. Vocational education personnel to analyze and evaluate different cultures, training and observing on-the-job training on techniques for use of solar energy for agricultural irrigation and vocational training programs in agriculture in the EU level. Because this area is still very new to our country and there is no option for our personnel to provide professional development in the use of solar energy for agricultural irrigation in our country.
