Manufacturing sector; It needs technical staff who can use modern technologies such as CAD, CAM and CNC well and have work experience. However, the high costs of CAD-CAM and CNC systems and our existing infrastructure deficiencies in our school cause us to not give enough space to production practices in the vocational education process. There are 95 factories in the Metal Goods and Machinery Industry sector and 20 factories in the Wood Products and Modular Furniture sector in 5 organized industrial zones in our city, and there is a great need for labor especially in the fields of machinery, metal and modular furniture. However, since our students do not have sufficient practical skills and experience, they cannot be employed in their fields and cannot benefit from these employment opportunities. A project application has been made for our students to strengthen their professional competencies for computer-aided manufacturing in the fields of Machinery and Metal Technologies and Furniture, to become able to use CAD-CAM and CNC machines, to gain work experience, to strengthen their professional and personal competences and to benefit from employment opportunities in our region.
