By implementing this project, our school aims to increase the professional practices and visions of the students, to offer them internship opportunities abroad that they cannot do on their own, to expand their horizons by breaking the stereotypes, to provide foreign language development, which is very important for their profession, to certify their professional knowledge and skills, to bring them to the forefront in job applications, to reveal European awareness aimed to remove. For our school, it is aimed to increase the institutional capacity, to improve the qualifications of the personnel, to increase the number of institutions with which cooperation and communication is established, to change the negative thoughts about vocational education, to gain international qualifications for our school, and to increase the quality of education and training.
In our school, education is given according to the modules determined by the General Directorate of Vocational Education. Unfortunately, these modules have not been able to update themselves according to the path the industry has taken over the years, and new applications for digitalization and climate change. The gradually losing validity of the modules has created great problems for our school and our students. While vocational education institutions such as our school should meet the intermediate staff needs of the sector, our students are evaluated as unqualified due to these negativities and their employment probability decreases. In addition, our school also needs to take international steps by improving its institutional and personnel capacity. Our school has been striving for years to overcome these problems, to improve itself, to offer a higher quality education and to reach better levels. As a result of this effort, our project was prepared and carried out in order to increase education, institutional capacity, gain international qualifications and increase cooperation. Because the Erasmus+ program offers very important opportunities that touch all the points we have mentioned and that our school cannot realize with its own means.
