Objectives

While implementing this project, we wanted and aimed that our students can give service of maintenance and repair for the Euro4, Euro5 and even for Euro6 and Euro7 type vehicles with the lowest exhaust emission, work on hybrid cars increasing day by day in Europe within the guidance of foreman in charge, maintain, repair and change the AdBlue tanks, make troubleshooting and measure exhaust emission by using computers, interpret the warning signs coming from the catalysts and other sensors to ECU (Engine Control Unite), improve their communication skills in English, work in an EU standard auto service by obeying EU rules, experience European culture by living there and be an example of Turkish culture to their friends.

Background

We applied for this project because by working in auto services with EU standards for 3 weeks in Budapest, our 8 students at the 12th grade of Motor Vehicle Technology Department will be able to see the highest level of exhaust emission technology in Europe, give maintenance and repair service for the Euro4, Euro5 and Euro6 type vehicles of which numbers increase day by day but we do not have many in our country, use high technology devices for exhaust emission measurement and motor measurement which we do not have in our school and work on Adblue technology in Euro type vehicles which prevents exhaust emission and environmentally hazardous gas.Besides, we believe that our students will get the opportunity to prove their skills in an EU standard auto service and this training will make their employment easier after graduation.Furthermore,we would like to carry out this project to make our students familiarize better with European culture and have a chance to work in multicultural working environment.
