Objectives

The general aim of our project is to increase the employability of the students studying in the health fields of vocational high schools and to create a positive perception towards vocational high schools. To raise awareness in order to find answers to the questions in the minds of people who are studying or thinking of studying in the field of health. The special purpose of our project is to contribute to the increase of employability of 20 students and 4 teachers, who meet the necessary conditions in the field of health, to participate in internship programs abroad after their preparatory education, to increase their knowledge and experience, and to obtain valid documents. At the end of the project, it is to increase the interest in the profession by making our project subject known through dissemination activities.

Background

Vocational High Schools with the status of Health Vocational High Schools experienced a turmoil and employment problem in the year our project was written. Our students who graduated with the program implemented for the first time experienced employment problems in the first place. While student teachers, schools and families trying to keep up with the new demand are in a state of anxiety, we aimed to open doors with our project. With the thought that the qualified employee will not be unemployed, we applied for a project to provide my students with new competencies, to enable them to experience their internship activities in European quality and to certify these studies. In the project, most of the people who are currently working in the private sector and at home in the field of disabled and elderly care are uneducated. It is a great risk for uneducated and inexperienced individuals to work in a sector that concerns human life such as health. We aim to increase interest in the profession through awareness and recognition activities with our project and work.
