The institutional purpose of our project was to increase its capacity in transnational cooperation and to transfer the competencies and skills of this institution to our own institution by working with an institution that provides adult education to EU standards. We have seen this mobility project as an important tool in improving the knowledge, skills and experience of our participating personnel in the field of adult education and in providing them with key skills related to their profession. It was our institutional need to identify the learning needs of adults, to whom we offered educational opportunities, with more modern methods, and to discover their abilities and learning levels, and to respond to the education of adults in a more qualified way by using more effective methods. With the innovative approaches and non-formal education methods that this project has offered to our adult educators, we aimed to solve these problems. We aimed to strengthen our organization's ability to cooperate with its international partners. We aimed to increase the ability of our personnel and our organization to develop international cooperation.
Our organization has considered this international mobility project, which we applied for, as a strategic importance and priority in order to increase our capacity, increase the key skills and competencies of our personnel, and develop and maintain international collaborations for our organization. It has aimed to continue adult education studies in our nation in accordance with the EU development plan by carrying out studies of higher quality and at EU standards in our youth centers by coordinating and harmonizing the professional skills of our personnel with experts and leaders who carry out adult education studies in EU norms, and by documenting their professional qualifications with transparent recognition tools. Lack of literacy and basic education, and deprivation of information and technology of the adult population is a serious problem. We aimed to meet the need for the development of the skills and competencies of our employees serving in the field of adult education studies. In addition, it is aimed to implement and apply the knowledge and skills acquired in the field of adult education studies in order to gain knowledge, skills and experience to individuals who benefit from the centers within the Gaziantep Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports.
