Lifelong Learning is a learning activity that an individual participates throughout his/her life in order to improve his/her knowledge and skills. It is the learning that is done especially via adult education centers, regardless of age, social and economic status, not limited to schools; at home, at work that can be realized in every field of life. Below are the gains that the teachers of 3 Adult Education Centers achieved through structured courses: -Our teachers, who first applied their professional development in their own fields, created a synergy by sharing their experiences with other colleagues. -Our participants, who will share their experiences in the new educational years with the learners they are addressing, will create European awareness, their motivation will increase with the effect of innovative practices, so that there will be a serious increase in the quality of education provided in adult training centers. -To develop team spirit and ability to work with others -To create awareness of European Citizenship by seeing and experiencing European culture in its place. -To educate learners who know and apply their "literacy" and "digital" skills and understandings in the 21st century, which is a time of change.
As Ordu Provincial Directorate of National Education(ORDUMEM) we aim to make a difference in adult education and increase the society's approach and participation in non-formal education to higher levels . We are aware that as the adult education gets stronger, the development of the country will also get stronger. For this reason, there has been a need to form a consortium for Adult Education Centers in accordance with European Union standards. 3 Adult Education Centers and ORDUMEM came together under the same roof in the project titled LEARNING CULTURE IN ADULT EDUCATION. Lifelong learning culture is not limited to schools; that can take place at home, at work, in all areas of life; regardless of age, social, economic status and educational level.Change is inevitable today, and it applies to diversity in learning styles as well. The power of change and individual learning tell us the necessity of a learning culture. In order to be part of the change and individual learning, it is necessary to have digital competencies. In LEARNING CULTURE IN ADULT EDUCATION, what we wanted to do is develop our staff in the field of digital and media literacy and to transfer this valuable information to their learners.
