Kayseri Maturation Institute, which is affiliated to the General Directorate of Lifelong Learning of the Ministry of National Education, is one of the 32 distinguished educational institutions in Turkey. Maturation Institutes are non-formal education institutions that research our cultural values, especially our traditional handicrafts and clothing culture, prepare new products by preserving their originals, archive and transfer them to future generations, ensure their promotion in national and international areas, train qualified personnel to take part in the sector in parallel with technological developments, and carry out research, promotion, marketing, design and production processes in addition to education and training. Every project arises from a need. In line with the needs analysis of the institution, it has been determined that although traditional studies are carried out in the field of ceramics and glass, special glass art courses, which are demanded by adult trainees, cannot be opened due to the lack of practical and technical knowledge of the teachers. In order to meet the workshop requirements of the institute, which has the only glass workshop in its region, and the training deficiencies of teachers and master trainers, it is aimed to receive training on flame glass bead shaping and tiffany stained glass glass art in expert course centers abroad.
