Project description: The Project called “From Disability to Ability” is written in order to create awareness to disadvantaged people and integrate them to social life. This project is prepared under Erasmus+ Youth Exchanges Programme by Engelsiz Toplum Gönüllüleri. In the project, cooperation was made with the countries of Turkey, Spain, Romania, Slovenia and Italy. The project was implemented on 19-25 April 2022 in Turkey / Kayseri. Objectives of the project: The main objective of the project “From Disability to Ability” is to evaluate the problems which individuals with down's syndrome may face in the social life and to create solutions to those problems. With the project we aim to integrate disadvantaged and disabled people to the society, to create social consciousness on the rights of disadvantaged people and make them have a better life conditions. In addition to this, to increase the tolerance towards disadvantaged and disabled people, to provide more and more project about disabled and disadvantaged people, to make them supported on social and economic life, to make National Agencies and Erasmus+ widely known, to increase the knowledge on Europass and YouthPass, to increase the cooperation between NGOs and CSOs, to increase the dialogue between European youth, to increase the participation to youth works and create the awareness on disabled and disadvantaged people are the other objectives of the project.
