Objectives

With the project titled, -Not Scared to say “Welcome”- we would like to create an awareness on the fact that although human beings have some differences such as color, race, religion, culture and thoughts, at the end we are all human beings and this is our very essential and common ground. Migration is a phenomenon of social mobility that directly concerns the individual and society. Around the world millions of people have been displaced from their hometowns due to wars, internal conflicts, terror or ethnic clashes. Forced Migration related to these causes are now at a global scale. In particular, forced migration has many social, economic, cultural and political responsibilities. When it is expected that these global movement of people should encourage learning more about each other’s differences, respecting one another and valuing members of different cultures, the outcome is otherwise unfortunately. Lack of communication, lack of respect or feeling hatred are some of the negative effects in our agenda which become causes of social crises and conflicts. In order to minimize these problems, to strengthen intercultural communication, to get to know each other better, to understand and respect one another we would like to implement this project. In this context, we aim to harmonize the refugees who have a different language, tradition and religion than the local people.
