Background

It is only possible for teachers to be aware of scientific, technological and professional developments, to renew themselves, and to fulfill their duties effectively, only by constantly increasing innovative experiences. It is aimed to contribute to our Internationalization Strategy Plan by increasing the professional and foreign language proficiency of our teachers with the Teacher Assignment Abroad Activities, which we carry out with our accreditation. The need for education to be continued outside also requires companies to become a lifelong learning institution at the same time. Therefore, the new training model is sustainable on-the-job training. Thanks to this project, it is aimed to provide our teachers with training and TAA experience in vocational education institutions working on the New Industrial Revolution in the sector. In addition, emerging and developing technologies with the Industry 4.0 and the internationalization of Kocaeli and Turkey industry have created the necessity of continuous self-development. In order to ensure a more efficient and effective cooperation with the business world, short and long-term internships targeting these competencies were planned for our students who continue their education.
