Objectives

Although the device used in the applications reaches successful results owing to manual skills, knowledge and proper observation of the process, the content of the cosmetics used is very important. Since our country is insufficient in cosmetic and medical/cosmetic technology production, many devices and dermo/cosmetic products used in the sector are imported from abroad. The fact that the content information of these dermo/cosmetic products preferred in applications is written in a foreign language and that they are used only within the framework of the information given by the sales representatives affects the process. The devices and products used cannot be used correctly or are used incorrectly due to the fact that information can only be obtained from company trainers. The activities carried out in our project were included in sector meetings. Interviews were held with company owners, cosmetic product representatives and these data were shared with our overseas partners. With our project, we aim to create a standard in our country by observing European standards in medical skin care applications, to train highly qualified staff in the sector, to develop employees, to increase awareness, to increase cosmetic/medical aromatherapy products and technological production.

Background

Providing vocational training opportunities to our learners, our field, our beauty sector, at the standards of the EU member countries we are partners with, gaining a quality and visionary perspective, ensuring employment and the need for intermediate staff. It has been set out with the idea that it will also be beneficial for the professional knowledge and development of the learners. Being on the sector and having educational curriculum have made the project strategic. Medical skin care applications are the applications made to regain the vitality of the skin with herbal products by analysing the skin and determining the needs of the skin. It has been seen that the content of the training curriculum and the diversity of the devices used and the differences in the application standards may prevent the development of our learners, our field and the sector. It will cause problems in business owners and sector employees in terms of employment. With the project, it is aimed to observe European standards in medical applications and create a standard, to train qualified staff for the sector, to develop trained staff, to increase awareness and to provide a standard that can achieve high level results. The learners who will be trained as the beauty experts of the future will be able to have the necessary knowledge and skills to meet the demands of the sector through our project.
