Project summary

Our project is planned to improve the living conditions of refugees under active aging. In order to ensure these conditions of well-being, there will be transnational meetings in 5 different countries to raise awareness of the discrimination of refugees. there are educational institutions, associations and public institutions. each organization is an organization that contributes to disadvantaged individuals and implements these policies. At the same time, our partners have the necessary personnel to contribute to the implementation and dissemination of the project. There will be managers in the management of the project, experts in their fields such as psychologists, sociologists, social workers, physiotherapists. Three people from each partner organization will participate in transnational meetings. 30 participants will attend the learning and teaching activity meeting. Each participant will train at least 1000 people in his / her organization.Non-governmental organizations with branches in many European countries will support the dissemination of the project. Adult refugees over the age of 50 are the target group of the project. the aim is to ensure the integration of this target group. it is planned to develop basic language skills and to make social and sportive activities to prevent physical losses in the context of active aging. In addition to social and sporting activities, handicrafts are not diminished and artistic activities are planned to prevent losses in daily life skills. A report will be prepared as a result of the project that we will carry out with our transnational partners. this report will be presented to the united nations and will contribute to international migration policy. thus, a model will be introduced to improve the living conditions of refugees and stateless people, which are increasing in many European countries and in the world. As a result of the project, integration of adult refugees with social exclusion and discrimination will be ensured. Those individuals who live an isolated life and feel themselves worthless will be supported by activities to replace their lost roles in the countries they migrate. All risks and adverse situations that may occur during the execution of our project have been considered. Measures will be taken by not allowing the negative conditions of health and cultural issues such as not being able to participate in the project by the mentioned personnel to affect the sustainability of the project. Pre-test post-test applications will be conducted for surveys to measure the usefulness of the project. Thus, the usefulness of the project and its effects on individuals will be measured. As a result of this measurement, an evaluation report will be prepared and each partner will share with other partners. Thus, the models in different countries and the parameters that cause the results to be different will be examined mutually. Universities from our partners will prepare a report for the dissemination of the project and submit it to the United Nations. Thus, for international migration policy; innovative and curative effects will be announced all over the world.

Background

Migration, which started from the Middle East and spread to the whole world, necessitated the creation of a global policy. Refugees looking for a new status have difficulties in keeping up with the existing order of the country they go to. Each country develops and implements a different model for refugees who are faced with many problems such as social, cultural, language, economy and health. It is clear that refugees suffer from age discrimination in the society, that many policies have been developed for refugees who continue their education life, but a discriminatory attitude is displayed against the elderly, and that there is no work for their integration. With this project, it is planned to carry out studies on the adaptation of refugee individuals over the age of 50 in Kırşehir, without being exposed to age discrimination, by seeing the models applied in different countries.
