Homeless people make up one of the most disadvantaged groups in society. They experience severe poverty. Most have additional disadvantages such as drug addiction, alcohol addiction, poor education history, disability or serious diseases. Some are refugees, and some are involved in a crime. They are isolated from modern life and society; therefore, they are separated from the advantages of normal and modern life. In other words, they need the help of other people in the community. Specifically, they need training on social inclusion, economic well-being, more health care for them, psychological rehabilitation, basic employment knowledge, skills and legal rights. Before the homeless project started, it was observed that there were not enough studies and projects on homelessness in Turkey and the world, the fight against homelessness, the reasons for being homeless, the distribution between countries, the importance of the house and the family, the risks of living on the street, and the studies conducted in this field were not produced enough. The HOPE project is an innovative project because it aims to create new ways of dealing with the problem of homelessness.
