Background

All-age schools combine at least two stages of a child’s education (typically primary and secondary) in one institution We aimed to explore and discover the ways in which all-age schools in other regions in order to contribute to enhanced student learning and improved student well-being. There is a growing momentum to develop All Age Schools across Wales, and the consortium schools are leading the way. In our consortium, however, we had little or no experience of good practice in countries where this concept has been embedded for many years. Through this project, they aimed to broaden our knowledge and experience.
