Our aims were: ble our trainees to expand their horizons and make themselves more employable.
We originally applied after attending a training course organised by ETEN. We are/were heavily involved in Erasmus plus projects but had never participated in VET. When we became aware of the opportunity to offer our trainees work experience abroad and all that experiences of that can bring it was something we wanted to explore, and wanted to establish VET as a core feature of our work. Our intention at the time was to make VET an annual feature and opportunity to our learners.
